How do Travel Rewards work? 📍
Earning rewards with Mastercard is simple and seamless. You’ll automatically receive cashback on purchases when travelling overseas or making online purchases at participating businesses. It’s that easy! Visit the Mastercard Travel Rewards website to discover the latest brands and offers available. Some offers require registering your card, but there are many you’ll receive without doing a thing.

Whether you’re exploring the Gold Coast, travelling for business in Asia, or backpacking through Europe, you can earn cashback rewards in over 25 countries. Categories include shopping, entertainment, travel, dining, experiences, arts, sports, wellness, and more.
How to use Travel Rewards on your Debut Card
Getting started is a breeze! Just register your Debut Mastercard for Travel Rewards.
There are two kinds of offers:
Ready-to-Use Offers: As a Debut customer, you’ll redeem cashback rewards on these offers without needing to do anything. Easy as!
You can browse offers without registering.
- Visit Mastercard Travel Rewards and go to See Offers.
- Enter your card number to verify your Debut Mastercard.
- Look for offers with the Ready-to-Use icon – a card symbol with a checkmark.
Add-to-Card Offers: These offers must be added to your card prior to purchase. You’ll need to register your card on the Mastercard Travel Rewards website.
- Visit Mastercard Travel Rewards to sign up for free.
- Enter your card number to verify your Debut Mastercard.
- Offers with a “plus” symbol or “Add to card” button need to be added before purchase.
You can link additional Debut cards, like your Tonu Cards by going to Manage Account on the Mastercard Travel Rewards website. This is helpful if you prefer to make online purchases on a specific Tonu Card.

Many offers are redeemable both in-store and online. Check the Mastercard Travel Rewards website to filter offers by brand or destination to discover what’s available. Simply use your Debut card with a participating brand, and your cashback reward will appear in your Debut Cash Account within a few days.
Many offers provide a fixed percentage or flat cashback reward, while some may require a minimum spend. Some offers may also need to be added to your card before you make a purchase using the MTR website. Be sure to check the offer terms.
